- We automatiseren dingen, maar aan het eind van de dag zijn vrijwel alle gegevens die u op Countik ziet, vergelijkbaar met naar uw openbare profiel op een sociale-mediasite gaan en uw aantal volgers / enz. is een beetje zoals een journalist. We willen een vertrouwde bron van informatie zijn en dat betekent dat we geen verzoeken accepteren om informatie die we hebben vermeld te verwijderen of te wijzigen, tenzij er iets onnauwkeurigs aan is. De wereld komt naar ons om transparante volger/etc-nummers te zien om te zien of er 'visachtige zaken' aan de hand zijn. Als we deze gegevens verwijderen wanneer daarom wordt gevraagd, tast dit onze geloofwaardigheid aan. Aangezien de gegevens die we weergeven openbare gegevens zijn die iedereen zou kunnen hebben gekregen door uw profiel te bezoeken, voelen we ons niet zo privacykwesties aan de orde moeten stellen.

- Net als de rest van het internet gebruiken we cookies. Cookies zijn niet slecht, ze zijn de manier waarop u één keer kunt inloggen op een website en ingelogd kunt blijven totdat u uitlogt in plaats van uw login/wachtwoord op elke pagina te typen.

- We bieden onze diensten voor het grootste deel gratis aan. Servers kosten echter geld, evenals het team om ze te programmeren. Om deze reden verdienen we inkomsten met de site via advertenties. Als je ze niet leuk vindt, bieden we wel een betaald abonnement aan om ze te verwijderen.

- We hopen dat dit informelere, maar ook meer informatieve privacybeleid heeft geholpen. Zie hieronder opnieuw de meer 'legale' versie, maar daar zou niets verrassends moeten zijn als je deze sectie leest.

HET PRIVACYBELEID EN WAT HET VOOR U BETEKENT

Countik's Privacybeleid ('Beleid') beschrijft hoe we informatie verzamelen, gebruiken en delen van bezoekers van onze website Countik.com (de 'Site') en de diensten ('Services') die beschikbaar zijn via onze Site.

Countik kan de algemene voorwaarden in dit beleid op elk moment en om welke reden dan ook wijzigen. Countik gebruikt analytische tools van derden om het gebruik van onze site te evalueren en ons te helpen onze site, services en gebruikerservaringen te verbeteren. Exercising Access, Data Portability, and Deletion Rights

To exercise the access, data portability, and deletion rights described above, please submit a verifiable consumer request to us by emailing us at contact@countik.com

Only you, or a person registered with the California Secretary of State that you authorize to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to your personal information. You may also make a verifiable consumer request on behalf of your minor child.

You may only make a verifiable consumer request for access of data portability twice within a 12-month period. The verifiable consumer request must:

  • Provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information or an authorized representative.
  • Describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.

We cannot respond to your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the personal information relates to you.

Making a verifiable consumer request does not require you to create an account with us. We will only use personal information provided in a verifiable consumer request to verify the requestor’s identity or authority to make the request.

Information We Collect

Our websites, emails (with your consent, where required by law), and other products, services and platforms collect information that identifies, relates to, describes, references, is capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer or device (“personal information”).     • personal information covered by certain sector-specific privacy laws, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FRCA), the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) or California Financial Information Privacy Act (FIPA), and the Driver’s Privacy.

Use of Personal Information

We may use or disclose the personal information we collect for one or more of the following business purposes:

  • To fulfill or meet the reason you provided the information. For example, if you share your name and contact information to request a newsletter or ask a question about our products or services, we will use that personal information to respond to your inquiry. If you provide your personal information to purchase a product or service, we or our third-party service providers will use that information to process your payment and facilitate delivery. The Company will not collect additional categories of personal information or use the personal information we collected for materially different, unrelated, or incompatible purposes without providing you notice.

The Company may disclose your personal information to a third-party for a business purpose or sell your personal information, subject to your right to opt-out of those sales (see ‘Sales of Personal Information’ below).
